Stykz is a program to create stick-type animated figures, which are those simple articulated figures that are such fun you've seen them on more than one occasion. It is, according to the authors, the first multi-platform stick figure animation program in the world.
Stykz reminds you of another program called Pivot Stickfigure. Stykz also imports Pivot 2 and Pivot 3 Beta .stk files, so you can use your existing .stk files you created, or download one from web sites. In Stykz you can create your own figures. Its animation system is based on frames; so you will have to draw the frames one by one or modify the existing ones.
The result is very funny, with the figures which you can rotate, scale and even duplicate and colour. You can also adjust the line segments for each figure, establish the length, width, colour and angle. Also, Stykz has the advantage that all the animations can be saved in GIF format. This animation program is very easy to download, install and then use, through its friendly and intuitive user interface. You don't need any technical experience at all to get the most out of it.
